The MECP Registration Portal and Database login process works on recognizing an email address both currently in the system and one to which you have access.
To retrieve your password or create a new profile, enter the email address used in your certification profile.
Note: If you either no longer have access to an email address in your profile (such as used a employer-issued email address and changed employers), or if you last tested before email addresses were captured (2004 or earlier paper testing), please email MECP for assistance in gaining access to your database profile. You will be required to provide verification of information in your profile as well as when you last tested or held MECP certification. Please do not create a new profile with a different email address if you know you already have a profile in the system. Request an update of your profile's email address from MECP instead. This ensures you retain the existing certification profile, testing and certification history, as well as preserve your existing CEA license number.
